Well, I guess we should talk about food for Reunion Sunday!! We have ordered Honey Baked Ham & Turkey and will also grill hot dogs for the kids or anyone else who would like to have them. For those who can, (local folks) please contact us with a dish that you would like to bring, so we can coordinate the rest of the menu. Evelyn is making 10 lbs. of potato salad. If anyone else wants to bring more potato salad or similar dish like pasta salad (since we are expecting at least 50 of us) or appetizers, fruits, deserts ... let us know and we will keep everyone informed so we can fill in other dishes as needed. For those traveling or even local ones, if you would like to bring things like chips, dip, watermelon, etc., also let us know. We will have basic drinks, soda, juices, some beer and wine,and mixers, so please bring any other drinks that you would like. We will also have all other basics like napkins, paper plates, cups and utensils. If anyone can think of anything else, please let us know. Other points: for locals, if you could bring a couple of chairs, folding, lawn or beach to help with sitting. Also, beach things like towels and beach toys, bathing suits, etc. Our pool is available, but still cool. Traffic Alert!! Gulf Blvd. is in the process of installing reclaimed water and contruction slows traffic flow, especially on weekends. On Saturday evening we will be having a casual cookout for anyone who would like to come, especially those at the local motel. On Sunday we will also have a simple breakfast, fruit, muffins, toast... Let us know, so we can do a little planning. Well, here's the story. Yes,I'm the "bad Son" of Liz (Payne) Holmes(ha,ha). I'm the one that seems to (almost never) make it to any of the smaller (local) family get togethers. I will make this one!
